Nowadays it is hard to surprise someone with outside beautiful and formatted pugs. It is obvious that exterior breeding is on high level in Ukraine! But, unfortunately, the pug's health issues are on topic last time. Discovered genetic diseases are often discussed today. It is very sad to watch how our beloved pets suffer from strokes, seizures and other "delights" or lose mobility from paralysis of the hind limbs. As a rule, it's happening in young age. That's the reason why information about health condition (including genetic health) is needed in breeding. Of course, lots of owners don't "bother" about testing their dogs. They often come up with "fairy tales" excuses. Personally, I test every single my dog. I test kennel's manufacturer on 5 most common genetic diseases. I'm proud that my last 4 breeds have full information about their genetic health.
